India has set a new record for the number of deaths from coronavirus per day, follows from datapublished on the website of the country’s government.
So, according to the authorities, in the day before May 11, 4,205 people died in the country. Before that, according to information World Health Organization (WHO), the maximum number of deaths per day was recorded on May 8 – 4187 deaths.
The sharp rise in coronavirus cases in India began on April 1. So, on March 31, 53,480 new cases of the disease were recorded in the country, and the very next day this figure increased to 72,330 and has grown almost constantly since then. ....
