David George Clements

Dave was born on February 25, 1961 to Dennis and Sharon Clements, in Toronto, Ontario. Dave worked various jobs throughout his life, most recently as a baker for Bennett’s. Before that he worked at Mount Baldy and Wild Waters, where his love of paddling flourished. Dave lived his life to the fullest, always up for an adventure. Whether it was kayaking, camping, snowboarding, biking, he could always be found outside with an infectious smile on his face saying, “It’s all good!” He loved music and was a talented musician. Dave was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. People who knew him as a kid would say he was spunky, if you knew him as an adult, you’d say the spunk never left him! Dave was a generous man, so full of life; he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful, or KSBB, which is the local Keep America Beautiful and Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation affiliate, organizes the local effort annually with help from the city and county governments and a local business.

Program aims to better dispose of Christmas boxes, wrapping Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful and the city of Statesboro are holding the seasonal holiday program “Operation Safe Disposal” for Statesboro residents.  The program began Monday and offers citizens a safe alternative to disposing of boxes for TVs, computer gaming systems, sound systems, or other valuables. By providing separate waste containers, citizens do not have to place such items curbside for potential burglars to see in neighborhoods. Waste containers will be provided for drop-off gift boxes, packing materials and wrapping paper only now through Dec. 30 at the following five locations:
