The funds will be deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, he added. Rs 10,000 will be given to flower growers for loss incurred per hectare. It will benefit about 20,000 farmers and may cost Rs 12.73 crore. For the losses suffered by fruit and vegetable growers, Rs 10,000 per hectare will be given as financial assistance, limiting it to one hectare, he said. This will ....

Pre-tax losses for the six months through March amounted to £200 million, compared to year-on-year losses of £121 million. Revenue tumbled 79% to £219 million. Mitchells & Butlers said almost all of its sites were now open, trading indoors and outdoors. The company was a high performing business coming into the pandemic, chief executive Phil Urban said.
