Sara Newsome called the meeting to order. Maddie Wiseman led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jobey Hattan led us in the 4-H pledge.
Hannah Hopkins took attendance. For attendance, members had to answer with their favorite 4-H activity. Hannah Hopkins also gave the Secretary’s report. The Secretary’s report was moved for approval by Abby Hall and seconded by Miley Caldwell.

State prison inmate Abby Hall has died as the result of an apparent suicide.
Hall, age 32, was found unresponsive in a bathroom at the South Dakota Women’s Prison in Pierre yesterday (March 16, 2021). She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Hall was serving multiple sentences for unauthorized ingestion of a controlled substance from Codington County and Brookings County and a sentence for possession of a controlled substance from Minnehaha County.

GARDEN CITY, Minn. (KEYC) - Two people are in custody following a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle early this morning in Blue Earth County.
A deputy tried to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation around 2 a.m. near Highway 60 on the Watonwan County line. Authorities say the driver led police on a pursuit at speeds over 100 mph. The pursuit eventually ended in Garden City when deputies pinned the car. Officials say the vehicle was reported stolen out of South Dakota. The driver, 42-year-old Shawn Humphries of Sioux Falls, was arrested and jailed on pursuit charges and outstanding warrants. His passenger, 32-year-old Abby Hall of Sioux Falls was also arrested on outstanding warrants. No injuries were r
