Paxton writer’s characters are on the case again

PAXTON The sleuths created by Jane Willan are called into action again in her new book, “Abide With Me.”
For those familiar with Willan s previous two books featuring Sister Agatha and Father Selwyn, their skills are brought to solve a new problem. Yes, it’s a dead body.
For those who have not read “The Shadow of Death” and “The Hour of Death,” the new novel is an opportunity to join what might be described as an unlikely pair.
“Abide With Me” carries the story forward from the previous two books.
The Rev. Jane Willan did it.
That s not a plot spoiler or giving away the ending of the murder mystery Abide With Me, which was published last month and is available on Amazon.
It s just stating that Willan is pastor of the First Congregational Church of Paxton and also the author of Abide With Me, as well as The Shadow of Death and The Hour of Death.
You could say pastor by day, murder mystery writer by night (or when she can find time to write).
The books have the author as Jane Willan no Rev. But it s not a mystery to members of First Congregational Church who are perfectly fine with having their own Agatha Christie as their pastor and have put on book launch parties to celebrate the publication of her novels.
