Daily Times June 29, 2021 The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) has started the 2nd phase of a 2-days vaccination drive by setting up another vaccination centre in its premises on Monday in collaboration with Advanced Diagnostic Centre for the vaccination of the business community, their families and employees. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry along with Dr. Tahira Shahid, Director, Advanced Diagnostic Centre inaugurated the vaccination centre. Fatma Azim Senior Vice President, Abdul Rehman Khan Vice President ICCI, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui Convener ICCI Healthcare Committee, Khalid Chaudhry, Ch. Zahid Rafique and others were present at the occasion. The visitors were administered Cansino-single shot, Sinovac 1st dose and Sinoharm 2nd dose during the vaccination drive. Jordan shows keen interest in Pakistani defence products Islamabad April 20, 2021 Islamabad : Ambassador of Jordan Ibrahim Almadani said that he was greatly impressed to see the high quality of Pakistan’s defence industry products and Jordan considered Pakistan’s defence capability as a source of strength for it. He said this during his visit to Defence Export Promotion Organisation (DEPO) along with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) President Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, where he was shown the various products produced by Pakistan’s defence industry. Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, executive member ICCI also accompanied them at the occasion. Jordanian envoy said that he was very privileged and honoured to visit the DEPO and was proudly impressed by the level that Pakistan’s defence industry has achieved. In a surprise raid on the intervening night of Friday/Saturday in Mohanpuri area, the police recovered about 400 finished plates and more than 300 empty ones on which number was yet to be written. Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, station in-charge of Civil Lines police station said: We have arrested manufacturing unit owner, Tanuj Agarwal, his associate Shriram and a seller named Sandeep Kumar who was picked up from Gurdwara Road and possessed at least 18 fake plates.
