Road accident kills two workers in Noakhali 296 NOAKHALI, May 4, 2021 (BSS) – Two workers were killed as a pickup van crashed into a rickshaw van on Begumganj-Chowmuhani road in the north side of Eklashpur Bazar area under Begumganj upazila of the district last night. The deceased were identified as Abdullah Al Mamun Akash, 17, son of Abdul Khaleq, resident of Katawalago village in Eklashpur union in the upazila and Nur Nabi, 16, son of Abdur Rahim, resident of the same area. According to local sources, the accident occurred in the area when the four workers were picking up sand in a rickshaw van, at one stage, a speedy pickup van lost control over the steering from the opposite direction and crushed the rickshaw van, leaving injured the duo seriously. ....
