Smith went to school at Concordia and McGill, eventually also completing a degree in teaching, he has spent about 30 years, working with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Smith is a member of the Pictou Landing Mi’kmaq First Nation. He has been an educator for three decades, coached sports in our community, is a musician and helped to start the Kaitlyn Bates Initiative. ....
