Do aliens sometimes come to us with benevolent intent? Lynne Plaskett has had quite a run of things. A former councilwoman of the Volusia County Council, as well as two terms as Vice Mayor for the city of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, she has had a successful career, considered to be an expert on planning and zoning issues and still very much involved with a number of community organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, the Council on Aging, and the Department of the Interior. She seems like a bright, engaging and successful figure in her community, and she also just happens to have her share of inexplicable experiences, such as the time she claims aliens cured her of cancer. ....
Throughout the realms of strange creatures and reports of alien entities there have been things that come in numerous shapes and sizes. There are countless forms these creatures take, and some of them can be very odd indeed. One type of report that has lurked about for some time is that of what seem to be bird-like humanoids of some sort, and they make for some very unique cases, indeed. One of the strangest cases of avian humanoids on record comes from the year 1962. The case was first featured in a 1968 edition of Flying Saucer Review, related by a UFO researcher called Lyonel Trigano, and it is quite bizarre, to say the least. On one rainy evening in November of 1962, a French businessman only referred to as “Mr. S” was driving along a desolate stretch of road in the region of Var when he saw something rather odd in the gloom ahead. There through the slashing rain he saw huddled in the road a group of figures that he at first took to be people, but which would soon ....
Some of the more spectacular and eyebrow-raising accounts within the UFO field have to do with what are usually termed alien abductees. These are those individuals who have been allegedly whisked away by alien entities for inscrutable reasons we will probably never understand, and they very often have incredibly weird stories to tell. Among these ranks is a former CIA agent, who not only claims to have been abducted by aliens on numerous occasions, but who also claims that this is going on on a wider scale than we ever realized and who has dedicated himself to hunting these entities down. ....
Some of the best UFO stories, often very credible or at least the most entertaining, are those that come from top officials that typically would be considered “in the know.” At the very least they serve to be a podium from which their strange stories are certainly more paid attention to than some nobody out in the boondocks, and here we will look at the bizarre story of a British politician and his bonkers claims. Buckle up, maybe even put on your tinfoil hat, because we are going for a ride. Simon Parkes is not a nobody. His mother worked for the British intelligence agency MI5 from 1965 to 1979 and also worked for the NSA, while his grandfather was a diplomat working for MI6 and also at the UN in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Parkes would follow in these footsteps, carving himself quite an impressive career, becoming a politician himself and going on to be elected as a councillor for the Whitby Town Council, in Whitby, in the Scarborough borough of North Yorkshire, Eng ....
