Fire breaks out at building in Thane s Ghodbunder Road, 20 rescued ANI | Updated: Apr 09, 2021 14:14 IST Thane (Maharashtra) [India], April 9 (ANI): Around 20 people were rescued safely from a massive fire that broke out at a building in Ghodbunder Road, Thane on Friday. According to the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), 20 people trapped in the building were rescued safely. Situation is under control. Rescue operation is complete and all residents of the building have been safely rescued, TMC informed. Earlier, a fire also broke out at Ankur School in Krishna Nagar in Ahmedabad which was brought under control immediately without any casualties. (ANI) ....

383 University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University felicitated the participants and winners of Drawing Competition, an outreach activity through Google Meet, recently. The theme of the competition was Covid 19 Awareness and its Management . The event was organised to make students and public more aware about Covid 19 and to give a platform to budding artists to showcase their creativity. Under this outreach activity the entries were invited March from school students of the tricity and the neighbouring states under two categories: category I for Class VI to VIII and category II for Class IX to XII. The event was successfully organised by Dr Anurag Kuhad, Dr Neelima Dhingra and Dr Sangeeta Pilkhwal Sah under the guidance of Professor Indu Pal Kaur, Chairperson, UIPS. ....
