Forum, July 27: I will work for the well-being of the Hartford community Published: 7/26/2021 10:00:07 PM Modified: 7/26/2021 10:00:11 PM I will work for the well-being of the Hartford community I am running for the remainder of a two-year term on the Hartford Selectboard in the Aug. 10 special election. When the impeachment article is delivered to the Senate, the Senate must immediately try the president. Such a trial would take up time, and that time should be devoted to approving Joe Biden’s Cabinet, getting the vaccines into peoples’ arms and getting our economy back on track. What to do? The Senate, on Jan. 19, should dismiss the article of impeachment on the grounds that Donald Trump will not be in office anymore. Such an action would mean politically this: He is not worthy of our attention. ....
