L&T Q4 PAT rises 3% YoY to Rs 3,293 cr | Business Standard News

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported 3% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,293 crore on 9% increase in revenues to Rs 48,088 crore in Q4 FY21 over Q4 FY20.
The company s revenues registered a sequential growth of 35%, as execution activities normalized on easing of COVID-19 restrictions, prior to onset of the 2nd wave of the pandemic. The International revenues during the quarter at Rs 15,851 crore constituted 33% of the total revenue.
The order inflow for the quarter January-March 2021 at Rs 50,651 crore, lower by 12% over corresponding period of the previous year with deferment of awards. International orders at Rs 18,439 crore during the quarter is at 36% of the total order inflow, with receipt of biggest Solar PV plant order and transmission line orders. ....

Tech lifts L&T net to ₹2,467 cr.

Divestment, real estate sale also aid profit; revenue dips 2%
L&T reported a 5% rise in consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 to ₹2,467 crore on account of higher profit from the information technology and technology services (IT & TS) segment and sale of commercial property by its realty division.
The PAT also included gains on divestment of ₹209 crore from discontinued operations.
“The gain of divestment is towards further adjustments accrued against the sale of the electrical and automation business to Schneider Electric SE in the previous quarter and sale of the U.K.-based marine control and automation systems subsidiary to Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG,” L&T said. ....
