TIX with his song
“Fallen Angel”. This concludes five semi-finals, a second chance round, and a 2.5-hour grand final of MGP. They really made light out of the darkness!
Norway Melodi Grand Prix 2021: TIX wins with “Fallen Angel”
“Fallen Angel” is written by TIX himself and is a synthpop ballad about unrequited love. It uses biblical imagery to convey the idea of a crush that one can never have because they believe they can’t match up. “How could she ever love someone like me? She’s out of reach”. He describes himself as the “fallen angel” and “there’s no way I’ll ever reach up to Heaven to you”.
Norway is ready to finish the race to find their entry for Eurovision.

TIX stormed to victory at Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) with the song Fallen Angel.
Melodi Grand Prix 2021 delivered on its promise to be the biggest yet! With 5 semi-finals, a bumper last chance evening, and a grand finale featuring a dozen amazing songs, it truly was the ultimate celebration of Norwegian music.
After 5 weeks of shows, TIX has been crowned champion and will perform in the first Eurovision Song Contest semi-final, to be held on 18 May 2021 (the day after Constitution Day, the national day of Norway).

Melodi Grand Prix 2021 concludes tonight in Norway with its Grand Final scheduled to take place in Oslo this evening with 12 acts battling for the golden ticket to Rotterdam.
We are flying back to the majestic capital of Norway tonight as the 2021 Norwegian national selection sees its seventh and final show take place.
Melodi Grand Prix 2021
Melodi Grand Prix 2021 consists of seven shows (five semi-finals, a wild card show and a Grand Final) with a total of 26 acts battling for the golden ticket to Rotterdam.
A total of four acts will compete in each of the five semi-finals and only one act from each show will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence five acts will join the 6 pre-qualified acts and the wild card winner at the 2021 Melodi Grand Final scheduled to be held on
