Like many a publishing person, my winter reading is dominated by design PDFs, printer proofs and advances of forthcoming titles. Watching a book blossom as it travels from manuscript to page to print never loses its thrill. One set of proofs that have been gladdening our hearts during the voyage to publication is

The old Fortnite map may return in Fortnite Season 6, thanks to the destabilizing Zero Point

Although Fortnite s story is a bit convoluted & interesting at the same time, it somehow explains all the zany and seemingly random mashups inside the game. Players are constantly trying to figure out Epic s next move to determine where The Island s story will take everyone as it moves along its chaotic path. One current theory is that the map from Fortnite Chapter 1 will converge with the current map in Chapter 6, thanks to Jonesy s actions over the course of Season 5.
Will Fortnite s first map return?
YouTuber PlayStationGrenade has several theories about what may be in store for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6. One of them is the original map s return from Chapter 1 in what he calls a convergence. You can see this around 6 minutes and 20 seconds into the video above.

After pledging to improve the offering within its pricy £9.99-a-month Fortnite Crew subscription, Epic Games has now announced an eye-catching new skin for February and wrapped it up in the game s ongoing lore.
February s members-only character is Vi, a member of the Fox Clan - Fortnite s new name for its various Kitsune mask-wearing characters such as OG season five mascot and fan-favourite Drift.
Vi s set includes the usual character skin, back bling and pickaxe, now all with two detailed styles. There s also a wrap (a weapon skin) and a loading screen - new items not included in previous monthly offerings.
