Architects win close battle to secure their first Number 1 album with For Those That Wish To Exist

Architects claim their first Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart following an exceptionally close race for this week’s top spot which sees an all-new Top 5.
The Brighton metalcore band’s ninth album For Those That Wish To Exist finishes the week just 550 chart sales ahead of their closest competition, Maximo Park and their new record Nature Always Wins (2).
For Architects, it’s not only their first chart-topper, but first Top 10 album too; their previous peak was Number 15 with 2016’s All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us. ....

KINGSTON To kick off the Kingston Spring Author Talks series, Cass Sunstein examines the effects of information on one’s life in his book, “Too Much Information: Understanding What You Don t Want to Know,” at 7 p.m. March 18 via Zoom.
Sunstein argues that the information on warnings and mandatory labels is often confusing or irrelevant, yielding no benefit. He finds that people avoid information if they think it will make them sad and seek information they think will make them happy. Information avoidance and information seeking is notably varied. Some people do want to know the popcorn calorie count, others do not.  ....

With COVID-19 vaccines going into the pipeline, it’s reasonable to be optimistic about our collective health scenario for 2021. Unfortunately, Pfizer doesn’t seem to have an antidote for the ills that plague the body politic.
