Thu 31 Dec 2020 at 15:34 International NNA - America’s most prolific serial killer who was linked to three Cincinnati-area murders has died at 80 years old. Samuel Little, a serial killer with nearly 60 confirmed victims, died Wednesday at a California hospital. He had diabetes, heart trouble and other ailments. Little was serving a life sentence for multiple counts of murder. Little pleaded guilty in August 2019 during a special teleconference to two slayings that took place in Cincinnati. Little provided information about the killing of one of his victims, Anna Lee Stewart. The Cincinnati mother of three was killed in October of 1981. Her body was dumped in a Grove City field near Columbus. ....
Lu Ellen Witt Griffin WILMINGTON Lu Ellen Witt Griffin, 93, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. She was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Van Lear, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Len L. and Dez Witt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Griffin; seven siblings, including brothers, James, Charles, Len and Bob, and sisters, Anna Lee, Betty Jo and Peggy; granddaughter, Lara Griffin; and infant grandson, David Irvin. Lu Ellen graduated from Fairmont High School in Fairmont, West Virginia, in 1945 and then attended West Virginia University, where she graduated in 1949 with a B.S. Degree in Medical Technology. Lu Ellen was an excellent bridge player and loved puzzles and games. ....
