NATICK Jodie Cohen will be the next principal of Kennedy Middle School, according to a school newsletter.
Cohen has been assistant principal at W. L. Chenery Middle School in Belmont since 2019. Before that, she taught science for 20 years at Newton North High School.
Cohen holds a master s degree in teaching from Simmons College; a master s degree in organizational leadership from Endicott College; and a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

The Tri-County Superintendents Roundtable, a unified group of 41 administrators joined by 24 union presidents of their respective districts, is urging Gov. Charlie Baker to re-prioritize educators to make them eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations in the earlier part of Phase Two.
The administrators issued a letter to Gov. Baker Monday outlining the basis of their request.

Local superintendents, union presidents urge Baker to reclassify educators for COVID-19 vaccinations
Local superintendents and union presidents are urging Gov. Charlie Baker to reclassify educators and make them eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations during the earlier part of Phase Two.
In a letter to the governor dated Monday, the Tri-County Superintendents Roundtable, a professional association comprised of school districts and special education collaboratives, outlined the basis of their request, noting that the state is encouraging more in-person learning and that vaccinations would help facilitate that.

The Redhawk Winter walk is just what a community needs to combat the COVID-19 blues


NATICK – Daniel Zogby delicately transported theater sets to his car for safe keeping. They weren’t full-sized sets, like those seen in high school auditoriums the night the curtain goes up.
They were mini-sets, made by Zogby and his fellow theater students at Natick High School. The school s theater program used the mini-sets in a virtual theater performance during the coronavirus pandemic, and they will be one of the stars of the show in the upcoming “Redhawk Winter Walk.
Set for Jan. 25–31, the walk – “Redhawk” is the Natick High mascot - will showcase creative works made by Natick High students in downtown stores, including paintings, ceramics and mini-sets. ....
