Those who waited a long time for the parade didn’t go hungry.
Several thousand parade goers, chowed down on pancakes, ham, and had something to drink at the Dr. Bisbee Memorial Boy Scouts of America Annual Pancake Breakfast.
Some experts say there’s a special technique and style when it comes to making and flipping flapjacks, but Trey Gill with the Boy Scouts says it’s not that difficult.
Trey Gill
“It’s not that hard, if you can keep the grills at the right temperature, and it gets hot over these grills, but other than that, it’s not that hard. It’s kind of fun.” ....

Perusing through the scientific record, there is strong evidence that other species of sapiens have trodden the earth. There is a strong chance too that we, the sapiens of sapiens, managed to make them disappear with our rat-like breeding and our avaricious needs. Unless they vanished from lack of survival skills in changing habitats. unless they were wiped out by disease or other accidental events.
And in the paradigm of evolution, the hominid ancestor the precursor of the apes would have given ape-lines characteristics to gorillas (as gorillas), and to sapiens in various formats, as non-cross-breedable cousins. As mentioned before I believe Homo sapiens (meaning wise ) sapiens (twice wise) us, humans was (and is) a weak species that had to become more astutely cunning to survive. Axminster Rotary Club members have been busy helping the community despite the disruption caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
Press officer Martin King said: “From the very beginning of the crisis the club realised that our main fundraising events would be in jeopardy. Our Charity Golf Day was cancelled, the Axe Vale Show was cancelled and Stockland Fete, where we help every year, likewise.
“But fortunately from our charity fund we have still been able to assist a number of good causes.”
Martin explained: “One of our early actions was to contribute £300 towards the cost of transporting an x-ray machine that had been donated by the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital to go to Kagando Hospital in Uganda. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Anna Crabbe, the machine is now providing much needed services in that hospital.” ....
