In the City of Laredo’s original contract with the outlet mall, signed in 2014, the city agrees to pay the outlets 100% of the sales tax revenue they generate at the shops for 10 years. This applies only to the city’s 1% of the total 8.25% sales tax rate in Laredo. ....
