Bollywood finally seems to be embracing the long ailing theatre medium again, with the past week having seen producers line up almost a dozen Hindi films for release.
The move comes after cinemas ran to empty houses for nearly four months as they played dubbed regional fare and some smaller films. Film theatres in India had reopened in October after a seven-month shutdown following the outbreak of coronavirus.

Actor Sandeep Nahar s suicide has plunged the industry into gloom. Cruel fate has brought an untimely end to a talented life. Sandeep who was seen in the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story , followed by the Akshay Kumar-led Kesari and then in the Sonakshi Sinha movie Khandaani Shafakhana died allegedly by suicide, last evening (Monday, February 15). The actor, before his demise, had posted a long post along with video on his Facebook page, in which he spoke about ending his life.
