Ultimately, using both intramuscular and intranasal Covid vaccines may be effective in combating Covid-19. Out of the 108 Covid-19 vaccines that are currently undergoing clinical trials, only eight are delivered intranasally (through the nose) – the rest are mainly given intramuscularly (into the muscle).
