David Raymond Bishop, 79, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, following a brief illness. David was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Nevada, to Durward Divine and Velma Addie (Tennison) Bishop. On May 3, 1968, he was united in marriage to Sue Mease in Lebanon, Mo., and she survives of the home.
David was raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1960. He attended Drury College in Springfield for two years before joining the United States Navy in 1962. David served during the Vietnam Conflict as an electrician stationed in Subic Bay, Philippines, and later aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Following his honorable discharge in 1966, David served an additional two years in the U.S .Naval Reserves. Upon his return to Missouri, he moved to Springfield and worked at Miller’s Mutual Insurance in Springfield for several years then began employment at AVCO Finance in Springfield. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra performs free community concert in Hopewell
Despite the pandemic, the historic Beacon Theatre has quite the lineup. Seating is limited, and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

HOPEWELL - The Petersburg Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, Woodwind Quintet, and Bonefire Trombone Choir will be performing a free community concert at the Beacon Theatre sponsored by the City of Hopewell.
Concertgoers will be entertained with a variety of music on Sunday, May 16 at 4:00. This concert has sold out in the past.
The tickets are very limited due to the pandemic so get them early!
Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the tickets are for specific seats in 2-person, socially distanced seating pods. Audience members are required to wear masks.   ....

When it comes to custom vehicles, Texas has been a heavy hitter for quite some time. As far as new truck sales numbers go, no other place compares to the Lone Star State and that translates into more custom versions that can be found there. Texas has been a go-to stop for seeing some of the wildest trucks, and this goes for both new and classic versions.
Back in 2012, Todd “Radar” Hendrex and Lonnie Ford saw the need for a three-day show and came up with the idea of the Lone Star Throwdown (LST), which continues to be held at the very same venue, the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe, TX.
