The railway was then bought and turned into an attraction. The AdAmAn Club sets off fireworks from the summit of Pikes Peak at midnight New Years Day, January 1, 2017. Gazette photographer Mark Reis shot this in-camera double exposure with a 600mm lens from the back porch of of his home. He photographed the waxing crescent moon setting over Pikes Peak earlier that night and then left the camera in place.
