Ford unveiled the all-electric 2022 F-150 Lightning Pro, a version of the electric F-150 Lightning (earlier post) targeted at commercial customers. The Pro joins E-Transit in the lineup of Ford work-ready electric vehicles, backed by a nationwide network offering EV-certified fleet sales, service and financing.
Registrations have opened at Fleet.Ford.com; when the pickup arrives next year, it will be supported by an established network of 644 electric vehicle-certified Ford Commercial Vehicle Centers across the US offering sales, service, financing and charging solutions, as well as 2,300 EV-certified Ford dealers.
With a starting MSRP of $39,974 before tax incentives, the always-on 4x4 F-150 Lightning Pro with the standard range battery targets an EPA-estimated 230-mile range and includes a complimentary 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger, making the transition affordable for small and medium ....

Ford Introduces The F-150 Lightning Pro

Buyers can also opt for the 9.6-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard, providing power for additional power tools that Ford claims can rip up to 30 miles of half-inch plywood on a single charge of the extended-range battery and adds two more 120V power outlets to the bed and a 240-volt AC outlet. This system works with the truck s onboard telemetry, and fleet managers can set parameters around it. Should the Pro Power system deplete the battery to the point that the remaining travel will be compromised, the system will automatically deactivate.
That telemetry is another major part of the F-150 Lightning Pro s allure. Onboard scales in the vehicle can help monitor payload and provide accurate range calculations, and the telemetry systems can keep track of power, schedule charging, reimburse individual drivers who charge the truck at home, and even be alerted of crashes all via the truck s onboard systems. The Intelligent Range system can also factor in weather, terrain, cargo and traile ....

This July, Ford will open up the order banks for the all-new, all-electric 2022 E-Transit. To get fleet owners and operators all good and jazzed up, the automaker opened up a registration site and revealed how much the electric van will cost.
The 2022 Ford E-Transit will start at a targeted MSRP of $43,295 for cutaways and top out at $52,690 for the high-roof extended-wheelbase model. Ford had originally targeted $45,000 as the starting MSRP. This doesn’t include the $7,500 max federal tax incentive.
Ford’s also promising long-haul savings with the E-Transit, saying that maintenance should cost about 40 percent less than Transit vans powered by an internal combustion engine over the course of the first eight years or 100,000 miles.
