BATTAGRAM: Special assistant to the chief minister on power and energy, Taj Mohammad Khan Trand, inaugurated three different mini-hydropower projects having a total generation capacity of 400KV in Shamlai and Bansair areas of the district here the other day. Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation CEO Qazi Mohammad Naeem, project director mini-micro hydropower project retired Col Mohammad Shahid Yousafzai, PEDO’s Fawad Dawar, CEO Hydrolink Engineer Fazal Rabi and notables of the area were also present at the inaugural ceremony. The CM’s special assistant inaugurated three mini-micro hydropower projects; one each in Shamlai 250KV, Trangar 100KV and Aien area 50KV. On this occasion, he said that soon they would complete phase-I of the provision of low-cost uninterrupted electricity project to general public.
