The Uluinakau Rugby 7s champions the Fiji White Babas returned the winners prizemoney in the bid to develop grassroots rugby in the country.
“We are gracious to the Fiji Rugby 7s team for using the tournament as a platform,” said tournament organiser Malakai Yamaivava.
“And their generosity of helping in the development of grassroots rugby.”
The Gareth Baber coached side returned the $5000 on offer.
The Fiji Babas White beat the Fiji Babas Blue 26-24 in the grand final.
