Two high-risk sex offenders moving to Wadena County
The Wadena County Sheriff s Office and the Verndale Police Department have announced a community notification meeting May 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Verndale School Auditorium, regarding two Level Three registered sex offenders moving to Nimrod and Vern.

The Wadena County Sheriff s Office and the Verndale Police Department have announced a community notification meeting May 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Verndale School Auditorium, regarding two Level Three registered sex offenders moving to Nimrod and Verndale.
Davis Earl Whitaker, 26, will be moving to the 23000 block of County Road 139 in the Nimrod area. Whitaker was convicted of third degree criminal sexual conduct in 2004. The crime consisted of forced sexual penetration with a 17 year old female, who was an acquaintance to the offender. ....
