The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (
BBMP) has decided to clear
tonnes of second-grade compost piled up at Doddabidarakallu Solid Waste Processing Plant, by doling it out to farmers.
“All these years, farmers used to bear the
transportation cost of the compost to their farming lands. Now, we have decided to bear the cost and supply the compost for free within a 30-km radius of the solid waste processing plant,’’ said Narasimhamurthy, BBMP Dasarahalli Zone Joint Commissioner ( ....
