May 19 4:52 p.m. Bronson maintains his mayoral runoff lead Preliminary runoff results updated Wednesday by the Anchorage Municipal Clerk’s Office show mayoral candidate Dave Bronson is still in the lead with 45,639 votes. With 90,190 votes tallied, Bronson is ahead by 1,221 votes. He and candidate Forrest Dunbar are separated by a 1.36% margin. That’s over the threshold for an automatic recount Anchorage city code requires an automatic recount if a candidate wins by a margin of less than 0.5%.
