street. you can rest easy today. more importantly, this young professional woman, and her family, can begin to rebuild. reporter: so how did police catch an accused rape is in less than three days? they say, three reasons: a cooperative victim, traceable technology, great detectives. it is good investigative work. good instincts by the investigators having the right people there at the right time. reporter: twenty-eight year-old milton mateo garcia identified, arrested and charged. police say this is him, early saturday morning on spruce, forcing the victim into her apartment before police say he beats, rapes, and then robs her. this appears to have been a crime of opportunity. reporter: police say have after the attack garcia stole her keys and her phone. they traced it here to this neighborhood in south philadelphia. detectives pinpointed this home on eighth street, where garcia was living with at least three other men, and this woman. in spanish, she tells us t
