Last week the airport welcomed Central Airlines as its 18th cargo airline partner as cargo traffic at Malaysia s airports saw robust growth.

Malaysian airport operator MAHB saw the number of cargo flights jump year on year for the month of June as travel restrictions continued to curtail passenger traffic.
MAHB recorded 187,000 passengers in June, down 57.1 percent from the same month last year, amidst the decline seen at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) and other local airports it operates.
Cargo flights for the month jumped threefold over pre-Covid levels, MAHB noted. Cargo movements, meanwhile, were up 26.4 percent year on year in June, or 11.7 percent more than the cargo load recorded in the same month two years ago. ....

A new air cargo route from Fuzhou to Manila has opened to support frequent economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
A new air cargo route was launched recently between Fuzhou, Fujian province, and Manila in the Philippines to further boost connections between the two areas.
According to the Fuzhou Foreign Affairs Office, three weekly flights will be made by Zhongzhou Airlines, departing from Fuzhou at 1 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and arriving in Manila at 3:30 pm. The return flight departs Manila at 4:30 pm and arrives at Fuzhou Changle International Airport at 7:10 pm. ....
