Out on Monday, the mini-album, or EP, dubbed a “special album”, is fronted by a funky ’90s-feeling dance single, also called Don’t Fight the Feeling. In it, the popular K-pop group reflect on the emotions of moving forward in the face of change and choices, motivating listeners to move forward with them. The music video for the song also arrived yesterday, revisiting some elements previously featured in the band’s ongoing sci-fi plotline that rears its head often throughout their music and related content. ....

Previously, it was reported by a reputable Chinese fansite of Lay that the Chinese singer will be joining EXO once again for the comeback to commemorate the group s ninth anniversary since their debut. However, neither SM Entertainment nor Lay s label, Zhang Yixing Studio, commented on the report or announced his participation in the special album, leaving it as a speculation. This will be the first time in a while that Lay will be promoting with EXO after Don t Mess Up My Tempo. The Chinese-born singer has been on an extended hiatus from the group since 2016 in order to focus on his booming solo career and schedules in his homeland. ....
