the weather outside is still frightful and in places still potentially deadly. pamela brown here in for anderson. it s hard to imagine that some parts of western new york could see another foot or more of snow on top of the nearly four feet you see in these pictures on your screen. winter storm warnings there and elsewhere still in effect. buffalo s airport still closed. the entire eastern part of the country still in a deep freeze. almost 4,000 flights canceled today and nearly 2600 tomorrow. nationwide, at least 49 people have lost their lives in this massive storm. 27 and the buffalo area alone. we have wide reporting tonight from buffalo and denver international airport. let s start tonight with paula who has been right there in the works of it from day one. what is the latest on the ground? today those rescues also continue. in fact, new york governor saying that state police officers carried out some 550 rescues at least over the weekend. but we also learned abo ....

Planes more or less rolled into canada to be brought into britain. those are extraordinary circumstances and it s not necessarily clear even that sort of plan to take them straight from poland into ukraine would be acceptable to putin and not escalate the situation anyway. and is there any way germany today saying it will provide military help, but it has old migs from the east german days, before the german reunification. no, we re not going to do fighter planes. that is the complication. you re sending missiles is one thing, airplanes is another? where do they draw the line? it s a hard line to draw and doesn t look clear on the battlefield but the idea would be anti-tank weapons, stinger missiles have a sort of defensive nature to them. warplanes, fighter jets, things of that sort you re talking offensive firepower. this is the former top diplomat on the no-fly zone. president zelenskyy again today says i need a no-fly zone. nato says no. very smart people trying to ....
