As Pluto is finally added to the University of Arizona s scale model solar system, a new study suggests how the drawf planet s cold heart was originally broken.
A new scale model of our solar system spans through the University of Arizona's campus. The creator hope it inspires others to look at our solar system with a sense of wonder.
Designed to show the relative sizes and distances of solar system objects true to scale, 11 plaques have been installed across campus. Zarah Brown, a doctoral student at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, led the project in an effort to make space science accessible to people of all ages.
