New facts have emerged about how the outgoing government of Zamfara State under Governor Bello Matawalle ignored the state procurement rules and guidelines to award a contract for the renovation of damaged parts of Zurmi Township Roads to Ermano Global Enterprises a few months after the existence of the company in 2020. Ermano Global Enterprises was established on February 24, 2020, according to information made available on the Corporate Affairs Commission website.
One of the companies awarded multi-billion-naira projects by the outgoing Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed for the construction of governor's lodges across the 14 local government areas of the state, has been linked with Jamilu Zannah, SaharaReporters’ investigation has revealed. Zannah was Governor Bello's former campaign director during the 2019 general election. Zannah, a former chairman of the state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), died in December 2021 after a protracted illness.
