The new, state-of-the-art Missouri Valley Line Constructors Apprenticeship and Training facility will become a regional hub for electrical workers and linemen, bringing trainees and apprentices from six states to Indianola. The $13.5 million facilityheld a grand opening ceremony Friday, with well over 250 guests in attendance, according to Robby Foxen, the training program s executive director. After a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, guests got a chance to tour the facility before it was opened to the public at 3 p.m. The group included electrical work industry professionals from Missouri Valley and others in the industry, like the CEO of the National Electrical Contractors Association and several vice presidents from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Foxen said. ....
