as we peek outside to take me look at downtown orlando. amy sweezey is back with us on a monday morning. we are back to those cool mornings. amy: we have a cool morning ahead. temperatures are nowhere near done dropping yet. 50 s and most of the area now. a lot of us make it into the 40 s before we start to climb with the sunshine. sunrise doesn t happen until 7:28. we have cool air coming in behind the front and people end up lots of sunshine. it will be breezy and dries her temperatures climb. we are headed to the mid to upper 60 s. it is 56 in daytona beach. 60 58 sanford and we dropped to 52 in ocala and the villages. windy conditions, look at these winds out of the northwest. 10, even 20 miles per hour sustained winds. it feels colder than actually is. a little cloud cover from orlando south. the clouds will continue to and up with plenty of sunshine and our highs only recover to the mid to upper 60 s. 66 longwood and a veto 67 orlando in winter park. mid-to-upper

according to troopers, he was riding his bike last night along courtenay parkway. he had stopped, fallen off of on when he was hit. we have some video from last night, showing the scene of where it happened. just talking to his sister in law a few minutes ago, she told me that he was homeless. he lived in a homeless camp. wherever he is going. island. he spent a lot of his time to help other homeless people. troopers say that the vehicle that hit him was a small pickup truck. it was around a 2000 vintage, chevy. they are looking for the dark-colored pickup truck, and any information. person had stopped stephen terry s life might have been saved. they are looking for the owner of the pickup truck. later on, we will hear from the sister-in-law of the deceased man. we would hear a little bit about him, and his life. live on merritt island, dan billow, wesh 2 news. michelle: a palm coast man is accused of shooting another man in the leg saturday night, in a dispute over loud mus
it started to burn up this hillside. no match for the intense heat. up and down on the way here, two or three sentences. not everybody was hurt. 20 acres was impacted. they have it 90% contained but will be staying overnight to make sure nothing gets impacted. we talked to a couple of homeowners who had a very close view of a fire that was very threatening. about 500 meters that way, we could see the flames. you should really take a look at it. the neighbors pull together. within an hour, we have bulldozers here. we were certainly getting ready here is the photograph taken by trey marshall. you can see how high the flames were. just outside the full enclosure. reporter: they have still not figured out what started the fire. any kind of a spark could be a problem. that is why they are telling everyone to be extra careful. thankfully, because of quick work because of local firefighters. jim: check out this boat that is burning on dry land. the fire spread to the woods nearby.
