Air raid sirens were raised across the country late last night as Russian Kalibr cruise missile explosions were reported at strategic positions in the northwestern city of Lutsk and several other cities
There are no casualties as a result of the missile hitting the oil base. "The cruise missile was launched from Belarus. It was flying at low altitude, so the radars failed to detect it", – said Yuriy Pohulyayko, the head of the regional state administration. Read more and see images here.
The announcement comes ahead of Russia's continuing shelling of civilian buildings and airports in several cities of Ukraine that has resulted in the loss of civilian lives.
