A close cooperation in industry helps achieve technological sovereignty in the Belarus-Russia Union State and allows it to successfully replace imports from Western countries, Russia's trade representative in Belarus Yuri Zolotarev told BelTA.
Trade contacts between Belarus and the Russian Federation have become even stronger, trade representative of the Russian Federation in Belarus Yuri Zolotarev told BelTA during the visit of the Ryazan Oblast delegation to Belarus.
According to Aleksandr Osmolovsky, the dynamics of trade with Russian regions testifies to the effectiveness of the commodity exchange as a trade tool. Trade with Russian regions rose steadily throughout 2021.
“The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, namely agriculture, scientific research, tourism. Special attention was paid to increasing the export of Belarusian vehicles, tractors, dairy products, cosmetics to Udmurtia,” the public relations department said.
