Sunny, hot weather forecast across most of Taiwan this week 05/09/2021 08:29 PM CNA file photo Taipei, May 9 (CNA) The weather will be hot and sunny across most of Taiwan this week, with sporadic rainfall likely only in eastern Taiwan and mountainous regions, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB). Temperature highs are forecast to hover around 34 degrees in northern Taiwan, 30 degrees in eastern Taiwan, and 35 degrees in the rest of the country, the CWB said. On Monday, it will be especially hot in the southern cities of Tainan and Kaohsiung, with temperatures forecast to rise up to 38 degrees Celsius in areas close to river valleys and mountains, the CWB said. ....
