(Photo by Anne-Gerard Flynn, Special to The Republican) Facebook Share SPRINGFIELD Sixteen community-based nonprofits, as well as the town of Blandford, have been awarded $1.2 million in Better Together grants by Baystate Health as part of its Community Benefits Program to help urban and rural populations in communities it serves. The money awarded over a period of up to three years is from Baystate’s Community Health Initiative funding approved by the state and originally based on determination of needs at Baystate Medical Center in 2018.
