Doha: Qatar University Center for Young Scientists (QU-YSC) has become a member of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA). The organisation was established in 1968 in the United Kingdom and includes more than 175 members from 100 countries and territories such as Denmark, Finland, Germany, Britain, Norway, Switzerland, South Korea, and other countries.
The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) is the global platform for invention, innovation. This non-profit organization aims to spread a culture of invention and innovation, support for inventors, transfer of technology, and cooperation with relevant organizations. 
Since its initiation, the Federation has been working to educate the public about the importance of inventors and protecting their rights. Besides, the Federation holds international invention exhibitions, scientific seminars, and wo ....

QU announces ‘National Science Promotion Program’ for students

Doha: Qatar University’s Young Scientists Center (YSC), in cooperation with the office of Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies (VPRGS), is launching a research programme called National Science Promotion Program (NSPP) , to build and consolidate the research culture among youth. 
This new research grant is aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and will provide the research fields according to the national research priorities in the State of Qatar. It is a promising initiative of Qatar University aligning with the goals set under the pillar ‘Human Development’ supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030 and promoting youth empowerment through research and innovation programmes. ....
