February 1, 2021 at 10:26 am Young people in Orkney are being encouraged to share their views as part of an islander’s network. Orkney youngsters are being asked to contribute to a national challenge which could help to shape what future island life might be like for them. Youth Scotland is working alongside the Scottish Government and the National Island’s Plan on the Young Islander’s Challenge and to pilot the setting up of a Young Islander’s Network. This network will give young people from across Scotland’s islands, including Orkney, the chance to come together, discuss their lives and challenges and help shape their own future. ....
