Film: Cinefest Sudbury is now accepting submissions for the 33rd edition of the international film festival. Feature-length, short and documentary films can be submitted online at Cinefest’s Film Freeway website. The early bird deadline for submissions is on June 14 and the regular deadline is on July 2. Community: Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury and Myths and Mirrors invite residents to celebrate their neighbourhoods and one another with Plalk Around the Block. A Plalk is simply Picking up Litter as you Walk, hike or run. Once you have cleaned up, the coalition invites you to re-think waste, tap into your creativity and turn some of those discarded items into art.
