Janet Beth Gallup
Janet Beth Gallup, 70, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away on May 9, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born to parents Paul L. Robb and Claire Harris Robb, on Jan. 1, 1951 in Lock Haven. Janet holds the distinguished title of being the first female baby born on New Year’s Day in 1951.
She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1968 and the Erie school districts LPN program in 1982. She then went on to study nursing at Edinboro University and graduated with an RN, BSN in 2000. She was a past member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Anthony F. Amatrudo, 84, formerly of Kephart Plaza, a resident of the Susque-View Home for the past two years passed away Thursday, May 5, 2021 at the Lock Haven Hospital.
Services are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

Denis R. Malin, born Aug. 5, 1931 passed away on March 19, 2021.
A proud native of Buffalo, N.Y. who has resided in Woolrich for the past 37 years, he is survived by the love of his life Dr. Sue A. Malin. They were married in 1974 and their incredible love story always took them on new adventures together. They performed together, learned together, danced together, played instruments together, even farmed together from Michigan to Pennsylvania.
Denis’ experiences in life included graduating from Lafayette Univerisity, The Pennsylvania State University and Grand Rapids Junior College.
He was a proud Army veteran, a psychiatric nurse, a Director of childrens theatre, played semi-pro hockey among many other endeavors. He was highly accomplished in many musical instruments and played in Classical and Jazz ensembles. He also taught at various universities.
Robert C. Pelton
Robert C. Pelton, 67, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. He was born in Bellefonte on Dec. 11, 1953 to Clarence and Phyllis Hassinger Pelton.
Robert enjoyed watching baseball and football; his favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers. He helped deliver Meals on Wheels for a period of time. Robert was loved by everyone who knew him and always had a cheerful smile.
Robert is survived by one brother; George H. Pelton, three sisters; Phyllis Keller, Marsha Smith and Patricia Newman.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Calhoun.

Thomas R. Packer, 85 , of Eagle Valley Road, Mill Hall passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport. He was married to the former Pauline M. Karchner who passed away Oct. 31, 2020.
Services are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven and will be held at the convenience of the family.
