Police ID York man killed in shooting earlier this week

York County Coroner Pamela Gay has identified the person shot early Tuesday morning in York as Ayuri Jamison, 18, of York.
York City Police said previously that the man was fatally shot around 9:33 p.m. Monday on the 900 block of East King Street. The 18-year-old was rushed to a Wellspan York Hospital but later died of his injuries at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday. The shooting remains under investigation. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
The coroner’s office said no further information was available.
