Anthology of black authors to be given to all primary schools in England for free DIVERSITY: Children will be able to read literature by Black authors through new initiative (Image via Getty Images) A FREE anthology of books by black British authors is to be supplied to every primary school in England. The initiative by Reading based-charity, BookTrust, said that the move was to increase diversity in children’s literature. The collection, called ‘Happy Here’ will be aimed at readers aged seven and older and will feature writers such as Yomi Sode, Clare Weze, Dean Atta, Patrice Lawrence and Sharna Jackson in their work. ....
