The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan held a meeting, attended by representatives of political parties, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the CEC.
The meeting considered nomination and registration of party lists of candidates for maslikhat deputies.
Yerlan Dauylbaev, a member of the Central Election Commission, who made a report on the agenda, said that for the first time Maslikhat elections are to be held on political parties’ lists.
The nomination of party lists took place from November 10 to December 4, 2020.
The Central Election Commission allowed 6 political parties registered in accordance with the established procedure in the Ministry of Justice to participate in the regular elections of maslikhat deputies, scheduled for January 10, 2021. ....
