Dimapur, Oct. 24 (EMN): The Kohima Lotha Students Union (KLSU) held 47th freshers’ day-cum-annual session on the theme ‘Endeavouring excellence’ at Molu Ki, Kohima, on Monday. An update from KLSU informed that chief engineer, Police Engineering Project, Yanbemo Lotha, was the special guest and Prof. Y Ben Lotha, department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, the theme speaker. The theme speaker in his speech said that if one attempts to achieve something, then he or she has to endure hardship. Ben also lamented on the misuse of mobile phones, which greatly affect students in their academic performance and hinder their ability towards excellence. “The nurture and foster of the students from their parents also greatly determine their performance,” he said and suggested that parents should play a vital role in the performance of the students.
