Saudi-based Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company has announced that it has begun commercial production at its newly-expanded pipe factory in Jeddah. This comes following the completion of Phase One of the factory expansion.

Saudi-based Al Yamamah Steel Industries said it has won SR292 million ($78 million) orders from Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company to supply steel towers for the construction of 380 KV electricity transmission lines on the Saudi-Egypt border.
